In 2013 my world was changed forever. A car ran a stop sign resulting in a 90 mph impact collision. I have no memory of the accident. My neck was broken in 5 places plus numerous other breaks and fractures in my body. I had post-concussion syndrome/TBI related issues. On the day of discharge from the hospital, I was scared. For the first time in my life, I was vulnerable and physically incapable of defending myself.
